With arguably the most crucial weeks left on The Block, it was time for teams to start thinking about appealing to potential buyers for when their houses go to auction.

So, what better way to get them prepared then with the Domain Listing Challenge.

Blockheads made their way down to Scott Cam’s house and met with him and Domain’s Alice Stolz.

“This week you’ll be working closely with your real estate agents to create an unforgettable Domain property listing,” Scotty kicked things off.

“You’ll need to write compelling copy and style your home for a professional photoshoot that says, ‘Your house is the best on The Block.'”

Alice Stolz chimed in, adding that it’s a “crucial challenge” for all contestants.

“This is gonna be the first time many people actually get to see your entire property in the one place. You need to think about what’s going to make your house stand out from the others,” she revealed.

But that’s not all. Scotty also told teams how he’s organised for 100 potential buyers to come and inspect all five properties.

With a budget of $5,000 each, teams were told to scrub themselves up, put on a really good feed, get their houses ready and set a really good first impression.

“These potential buyers have the power to change your fortune,” Scotty added.

“On each of their phones will be your property listing and they will vote for the house that best lives up to that listing.”

The team that gets the most votes will win $10,000 cash, and Scotty even hinted at a bonus gnome floating around.
