9:23pm: WOAH WOAH WOAH WHAT IS THIS??
Portelli bought all five houses? He just revealed he was working with a buyer’s agent to snatch up up the whole lot! Honestly, this is WILD. And has definitely happened on The Block before.
9.22pm: The youngest team to ever appear on The Block – Maddy and Charlotte have just been crowned winners.
9.21pm: Portelli just blew the bidding out of the water with a $3.5 million bid!! Is that an auction record?? That was over in about 30 seconds.
9.20pm: HERE WE GO.

Portelli is looking ominous
8.56pm: Ricky and Haydn won the Domain challenge too – there’s definitely interest in their home.
8.55pm: Geez, it was a big season for Haydn, wasn’t it? A baby in week one – that’s never happened on The Block before either.
8.53pm: The boys don’t know their reserve so they don’t know what number they need to hit before they make a profit – I don’t think that’s ever happened on The Block before.
8.52pm: Up next is Ricky and Haydn’s “House of Fun”. The boys have plenty of perks in their home, including that $100,00 Bar Crusher boat.

Kylie and Brad have sold for $2.6 million to Adrian Portelli. It’s less than Courtney and Grant’s but a $650,000 profit is nothing to laugh at. Not bad for three months’ work.

8.23pm: WAIT A MINUTE! Adrian Poretlli has just jumped in with a $2.6m bid!

8.07pm: Danny Wallis has opened bidding with $2 million minus four cents. And it’s climbing. Jacob from Thirsty Monkey just made a $3m bid. Portelli counters with $3.1m. Thirsty Monkey offers $3.2 but Portelli is back with $3.3m. And it’s SOLD to Portelli for $3.3m, giving Courtney and Grant a profit of $1.35m.
8.02pm: Geez, we’re an hour in and haven’t seen an auction yet. I’m hanging to get to the juicy part.
7.56pm: Danny Wallis is here too, will he be bidding? Auctioneer Tom Panos is calling Courtney and Grant’s home “the chosen one”. Oooh, here’s some new faces – Jacob from Thirsty Monkey and Brett from Country Trucker Caps. Some new bidders are here to play it seems.

7.31pm: Man, Courtney is roasting house 4. Kylie’s excluded from the group discussions. This is TENSE!
7.29pm: Oooh man, Courtney’s in tears “It’s too risky.” Nobody wants house 4 to go first after hearing they have 13 interested buyers.
7.22pm: Hmmm they can’t agree. They’re going to do it randomly. Arrrrgh.
