The house used as the location setting for Tim Burton’s 1990 cult classic, Edward Scissorhands, is on the market for $946,000 (US$699,900).
Located in Lutz, Florida, current owner and super fan Joey Klops saw an opportunity that’s clearly paid off – he bought the home two years ago for just $312,000 (US$230K).
Klops went “full force” into the house’s history, stocking it with memorabilia from the Johnny Depp star turn, according to Deadline.
He even renovated it to align more closely with the whimsical Victorian look that made it so iconic, turning it into a museum and running tours of the home.
And if you buy the house, those cinematic flourishes are yours to treasure.
Described by the listing as a “one-of-a-kind Scissorland shrine,” highlights include mushroom wallpaper covering the kitchen and other rooms, and a full-sized Edward Scissorhands mannequin.
The exterior has also gotten the full movie treatment, with whimsical manicured shurbs and a lavender coat of paint, transforming it from a previously drab beige-olive tone.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom pad played home to the Boggs family in Edward Scissorhands.
Peg Boggs, played by Dianne Weist, met Edward (Depp) at his semi-abandoned mansion while selling cosmetics door-to-door. She then offered him a place to stay at her home with husband (Alan Arkin) and daughter Kim (Winona Ryder).
