Owning a celebrity-level home is out of reach for many, but it doesn’t stop us from dreaming. Over the past 12 months, we’ve hit our keyboards and typed certain celebrities into Google’s search bar, hoping for a glimpse into their homes and lifestyles.

Home insurance company Confused.com has compiled new research from the latest Google data, listing the most searched for celebrity homes in the world. The top 20 list includes influencers, sports stars and of course, Kardashians.

These are the top 10 celebrity homes we were most curious to see, along with search volume.

10. Tom Brady – 284,100

Football star Tom Brady and model wife Gisele Bündchen sold their absolutely gorgeous estate in Boston in late 2019. Built in 2015 by architect Richard Landry, in collaboration with interior designer Joan Behnke, the property sits on five acres and comes complete with its own spa and guest house featuring a yoga studio. He’s rumoured to have recently purchased a home in Miami-Dade County in Florida.

9. Ariana Grande – 360,800

In late 2021, singer Ariana Grande offloaded a modern home she had impulsively bought only a year prior. Located in the extremely expensive Bird Streets neighbourhood of Los Angeles, the pop music superstar resold the property for US$14 million.

8. Kendall Jenner – 382,400

Kendall Jenner’s LA home is understated and down-to-earth, bathed in warm, neutral tones and organic textures. Interior design was completed on the pan-Mediterranean home by mother and son duo Kathleen and Tommy Clements and the inimitable Waldo Fernandez.

7. Justin Bieber – 385,900

Celebrity real estate agents the Altman Brothers secure a US$26m mansion in LA’s Beverly Park for Justin and wife Hailey Beiber. The seven-bed, 10-bath home sits on over two and a half acres, boasting luxury amenities including a wine cellar, gourmet kitchen, library, billiards room, and a championship tennis court. There’s even a koi pond.

6. Will Smith – 397,70

Mr Smith and wife Jada enlisted Stephen Samuelson and architect Harry Perez-Daple, along with the interior designer Judith Lance, to create an adobe-style personal retreat in Calabasas. The absolutely huge US$42m property is big enough to include basketball and golf courses and the home itself has a unique circular floor plan, functioning recording studio and home cinema.

5. Messi – 458,500

Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi’s house is a stunning modern Barcelona mansion with sea views. Located in the exclusive suburb of Castelldefels, the suburb also has a no-fly zone, great for both the environment and this sport star’s privacy. The property has a small football pitch, a swimming pool, an indoor gym and a playground for his three children.

4. Kylie Jenner – 678,000

Kylie Jenner’s much publicised mansion in the Hidden Hills was styled by multi-award winning Los Angeles based interior designer Martyn Lawerence Bullard. And that’s exactly who she enlisted when moving during the pandemic to the glamorous Holmby Hills neighbourhood. Jenner’s new single-story resort compound is worth US$36.5m and has club-style games rooms, a home cinema, plus seven bedrooms and 14 (!) bathrooms.

3. Kim Kardashian – 842,500

Last year Kim Kardashian took out the top spot in this list, but she’s now the third most searched for celebrity home. Kim’s home is famous for its extremely minimal design and all-white everything, with the mega star dubbing the style “minimal monastery.” Designed between her ex Kanye West and Axel Vervoordt, the home’s arched hallways, neutral palette and stark bathroom are often documented on her Instagram.

2.Drake – 1,002,500

Drake has the second most Googled celebrity house in the world with over a million searches annually. The rapper’s Toronto mansion is 50,000 square feet and boasts an indoor basketball court, marble interior and imposing rooms with 44 foot high ceilings. His home was designed by Canadian architect Ferris Rafauli and has even been covered in interiors-bible Architectural Digest.

1.Elon Musk – 1,321,500

American entrepreneur Elon Musk’s home is the most Googled, with over 1.3 million searches in the last 12 months globally. With a reported wealth of $185 billion, it’s unsurprising many are curious to take a look at the no-doubt lavish mansion he lives in – however, it’s recently been said that he actually lives in a small, rented ‘Boxabl’ home worth $50,000 nearby to his company SpaceX’s headquarters.

Other celebrities that make up the remainder of the top 20 list include:

11. Jeffree Star – 264,700
12. Eminem – 246,700
