Feel like soaking up some beer-y ambience? Want to sit at an old fashioned, regular wooden bar gazing at a neon sign and glass shelves full of well-lit spirits? But you don’t want to leave the house, right?

Luckily, this house in Troy, New York State, has been designed with you in mind. That’s right – it comes with an entire bar (or tavern) inside.

It’s far too nice a place to qualify as a dive bar, but it’s still got plenty of cosy atmosphere and wouldn’t look out of place with a bearded fellow pulling a standard beer – Coors Light or Bud, whatever takes your fancy.

As noted by Curbed, it’d also be a great place for first dates – as it also comes with a fancy home theatre adjacent to ‘the establishment’, kitted out with leather seats. Or you could put up a darts board and while away the hours, staying up all night with your sport of choice on in the background.

The rest of the property – listed by Sotheby’s International – is equally well catered, with six bedrooms, a salt water pool, outdoor water feature with bridge, horse barn, library and gym.

It’s set on 16 hectares, is15 minutes from the city of Albany and is currently on the market for US$2.6 million ($3.5 million).

As you can see, the rest of the house is pretty great at well.
