Centrally located, yet surrounded by nature, The Borough at Denman Prospect is a new development set to raise the bar when it comes to amenities seen in ACT apartment buildings.

Due for completion in mid-2025, the development’s major drawcard – a Flexi-Space upgrade – will allow residents to customise their homes to cater to their unique lifestyles.

The additional space could be used as a home office, theatre, guest bedroom or home gym, says Keenan Veraar of LJ Hooker Project Marketing.

“The apartments themselves are much larger than average, and with the three-metre ceiling heights, there is a real sense of light and space inside,” he says.

“There will be one, two, and three-bedroom options, and it’s community-focused with ample places to gather on the lawns, terraces, communal spaces and rooftop gardens.”

The building itself may feel familiar to Southsiders as it’s modelled on the iconic Kingsborough in Kingston. Like its predecessor, it will feature multiple buildings within a shared precinct that will encourage residents to gather.

The Borough’s prime location is also a major drawcard – it sits at the entrance to Denman North and is only a 15-minute drive from major town centres.

Veraar says there is a sense of belonging and community growth within the suburb, which is privately owned by Capital Property Group, known for building Canberra Airport, Majura Park Shopping Centre, and four business precincts.

“Denman Prospect values its residents and encourages relationships within the community,” Veraar says. “There are regular gatherings, including Meet Your Neighbour Nights, as well as large neighbourhood events on special occasions.

“There is a focus on investing in exceptional amenities, playgrounds and parks, and there is well-planned accessibility throughout the suburb.”

The interiors will include Smeg kitchen appliances, hybrid flooring and double-glazed external windows. Photo: Supplied.

Denman Prospect also boasts a thriving shopping village and nature trails, and it is only a five-minute drive from the Evelyn Scott School (preschool-Year 10).

The Borough – like the suburb it’s located in – will feature fine amenities, including Smeg kitchen appliances, hybrid flooring, 100 per cent wool loop-pile carpet in the bedrooms, and double-glazed external windows.

It was developed by property-based collective Jega – the team behind Casey Market Town, Mode3 and Kingsborough – and built by family-owned builders Elevated.

Veraar says the development is perfect for a wide range of demographics.

“First-home buyers, young families and owner-occupiers are the ideal demographics for this development,” he says. “They’ll benefit the most from owning a home at The Borough.”

Four new display apartments will open this week ready for inspection.
