Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is rumoured to be on the hunt for a buyer for his Beverly Hills mega-mansion.
The 53-year old looks set to make a pretty profit on the property.
The Mission Impossible star bought the home with his then wife, Katie Holmes, in 2007 for $US30.5 million ($42.4 million).
Celebrity news site Variety says Cruise is reportedly seeking about $US50 million for the home; a hefty $US20 million jump on what he paid eight years ago.
There are no photos of the luxury home’s interior, but the new owners won’t be short on space.
With seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the home covers more than 930 square metres.
The property also has a lap pool, a tennis court with basketball hoops and a children’s playground. There are also a couple of guest houses on the large site.
Even the fountain in the motor court at the end of the long driveway could double as a second swimming pool because of its size.
Cruise has been making some moves in his property portfolio, listing his Colorado retreat for $59 million last November.
Located outside the town of Telluride, the home “offers the ultimate retreat for those seeking privacy, scenic beauty and serenity”, the listing says.
And with 121 hectares of mature forest surrounding the home, it is the perfect place for an A-lister to hide out from the paparazzi.
