Top 4 homes in Canberra, Goulburn and the South Coast to inspect this weekend

January 21, 2022
106 Bannister Head Road, Mollymook Beach has a forthcoming auction.

I don’t know about you, but my Christmas break was a touch mundane; very domestic and utterly delightful. Of course, Christmas with loved ones and catching up with friends was lovely, but productive days at home stand out as some of the best.

It seems I’m not alone – at our first meeting of 2022, the Allhomes team counted highlights like a “life-changing” new vacuum cleaner, DIY projects and gardening among the beach getaways and family reunions.

In a world that’s unpredictable, spending time on improving or updating our homes feels constructive and soothing.

Personally, I upgraded my bedroom with a new linen bedhead, spent an inordinate amount of time assembling furniture for our nursery and did the kind of deep-cleaning that I don’t usually squeeze into the working week.

I can’t get enough home inspiration at the moment – and I hope the same rings true for you because there’s plenty in our first top picks of 2022.

Mollymook Beach

As soon as they’re given the opportunity, Canberrans flock to the shorelines of the NSW south coast – as evidenced by the recent summer holidays, when not a vacant Airbnb could be found.

There’s something completely re-energising about the area.

106 Bannister Head Road, Mollymook Beach

The home at 106 Bannister Head Road is your opportunity to permanently immerse yourself in this blissful tranquillity. Set on a northern clifftop, its leafy outlook over the sapphire ocean is as good as it gets. Even the water seems to wink at you as it sparkles in the sunlight.

Enjoy the vistas from the spacious open-plan living area with large expanses of glass that take perfect advantage of the cool ocean breeze. Or invite the family around for a barbecue on either of the private outdoor decks with adjoining reserve space in which the kids can run and play.
