Forget room with a view, this property for sale is a loo with a view.
The address in the English seaside town of Long Rock in west Cornwall has an auction guide of just £20,000 ($38,958) and is right on the ocean.
However, don’t get too excited – the land for sale is currently uninhabitable, with only a former toilet block on site.
An online auction through Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers has kicked off, with an end date of March 21. At the time of publication, the highest bid was £67,000 ($130,528).
Listing photos reveal a “detached former block of public conveniences” with land on either side. The site occupies 0.12 acres and is right on the water.
“Spectacular position on the seafront”, the listing says, referencing the views towards St Michael’s Mount and Mount’s Bay.
The waterfront location is the standout property feature, with the former toilet block in a derelict state. A video on the listing reveals graffiti, cracked paint on the walls, cobwebs, dirt and rubbish.
Planning permission for “any future use of the property” will have to be undertaken by the buyer.
Long Rock is an idyllic village in west Cornwall in England, between Penzance and Marazion.
