When it comes to property, depending on the area, $1 million can buy you very different houses.
While you can grab a half-hectare block for less than $1 million in Queanbeyan, in the Inner South it will cost more to buy a duplex. Likewise, a five-bedroom home in Belconnen is roughly the same price as a three-bedroom home in the Inner North.
If you are looking to buy and can afford $1 million or you are just curious, here’s what $1 million will buy you right now in each Canberra district.
