Meet the hosts

Chris Kohler

Before kicking off his career in journalism, Chris Kohler completed a Masters Degree in International Relations and Journalism at Monash University. But with journalism in his genes – the son of two journalists – it was only a matter of time before he followed his path into the media.

He became a business journalist with Business Spectator and from there he took the role of financial markets reporter at The Australian, before going to Domain as its National Business Editor.

Kohler then moved into television, joining the Your Money channel as host of Your Money Live. Most recently he was business reporter with Sky News.

In August 2019, Kohler joined Nine as the network’s property expert. He is also co-host of Nine’s new property entertainment program, Your Domain, which goes to air on Saturday morning at 10.00am, starting September 7.

Like most young Australians, Chris and his wife, Susannah, know the challenges people face and the sacrifices they make when trying to take their first step on the property ladder. They’re currently watching Domain listings, hoping to find their own first home.

Shelley Craft

Shelley Craft is best known for co-hosting the past eleven seasons of Nine’s hit reality renovation program, The Block, alongside Scott Cam.

A veteran of television, she was discovered in the early 1990s while doing work experience at a Brisbane television studio. Since then she has hosted Saturday Disney, The Great Outdoors, three Winter Olympics, Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, Domestic Blitz and Reno Rumble.

In her latest role, Craft will co-host Nine’s brand-new property entertainment program, Your Domain, at 10.00am on Saturday morning.

For the past ten years she has lived in Byron Bay with husband Christian, a real estate agent, and daughters Milla, 9, and Eadie, 7.

Having bought and sold three times during her time in Byron, Shelley knows better than most what it takes to prepare a home for sale.

Property has always been one of her passions. While working on a travel show, she was as interested in researching the real estate market in new destinations as exploring the tourist attractions.
